Mike has 27 years experience in the insurance industry. Prior to moving into the broking industry nearly 18 years ago, he worked as an underwriter with a major insurer. Mike's role entails providing risk management, insurance and financial services to clients throughout the UK and abroad. Mike is married and has two sons and a step daughter. His hobbies include playing golf and supporting Bolton Wanderers.

Paul Bentley
Associate Director 

Paul has consummate knowledge in the personal insurance field and has used his experience  in setting up specialised schemes and affinity groups. Paul’s role also includes being involved in the day to day office management of the brokerage. Paul is an avid Burnley supporter and enjoys both playing and watching football.

Barry Tombs
Claims Director

Barry has enjoyed 29 years in the insurance industry having originally worked for an Insurance Company in the Lloyds market for 14 years. His experience covers many aspects of claims work in both a Company and Broker environment which includes the 1987 Hurricane in the South of England. Barry is married and enjoys hobbies such as photography, writing music and motor sports.

Nick Green
Consultant

Nick joined DTE in 2005 with 28 years experience in the insurance industry in the North West and having run and built up his own brokerage. Nick’s role is helping the brokerage expand enabling it to grow across the board and help develop a client base in different business areas. Nick also got married in 2005 and successfully juggles hobbies such as fishing, football and shooting.
