New Product Launch - DTE have teamed up with a leading insurer to launch ProtectaPlayer, a Personal Accident Insurance cover aimed at providing protection to all amateur football players via their clubs and leagues.

The cover provided will be a corporate package to cover all participating clubs or teams within a league format and also an individual team policy tailored the suit each individual.

Speaking about the launch, DTE Risk & Financial Management Associate Director Paul Bentley said: "We already have experience and strong links in this field with numerous affinity groups and associations yet having carried out extensive research we still feel that many of the amateur football leagues have either inadequate or no cover at all.

Our product will provide some reassurance to players should they be injured as a result of an accident whilst playing, training or traveling to and from a match."
